The vans we have custom built featured on this website cost between $15,000 and $200,000 (van price not included). Since every build is unique and custom to the owner, It depends on a large variety of designs, options and sizes. Minimalist builds can start around $30k and we have been seeing, on average, builds coming in around $75k - $140k for an empty van to a finished home on wheels that includes custom cabinetry, sleeping area, windows, electrical and plumbing systems, solar panels and more. If you have any drawings (bed layout/ kitchen/ seating), specifications (solar/plumbing) and/ or inspirational builds from our website or others, we should better be able to provide a rough estimate. If you are interested in consultation, we now offer a 1-hour meeting for $150 where we can discuss all things van and help you decide on a van make, size, layout, design, materials and more. This can be done in person or over the phone.

Yes! Woodworking is the core passion of what we do. It is a blend of van build outs mixed in with custom made furniture. Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to do repairs, modifications or on-site projects.

The way it works is the owner purchases a van and we go over the budget, design and sign a contract. We give an estimate on what the custom van build may cost based on past builds and experience. We can either do a set price contract or time and materials. We recommend T&M because it is difficult for us know what your unique build will cost exactly and we have found this is the fairest way for both the builder and owner to get what is in their best interest. Usually it is a design and build process, and we are able to add changes and modifications in without any issues. Once this is done, the van is delivered to our shop in Seattle by the owner. Clients come from all over the country to work with us, so it does not have to a localized project.

We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and quality. Every new build is different from the last and presents new and exciting challenges. Because of all these factors, full conversion generally comes in around 12-24 weeks. Minimalist builds such as Star Wagon only took 3 weeks while Blue Yonder took 30 weeks. On average, custom one of a kind builds come in around 3-6 months.

We hold all projects in queue with a deposit that ensures a spot on our schedule. We most likely will have time for smaller projects when they can be fit in. Usually, we are booked approximately 2-6 months for new van builds. Please contact for a updated schedule.
