Tommy Van was built with the northwest rock climber in mind. Built on a quigley 4x4 upgrade on a Ford E-Series, the van was formulated for a minimalist lifestyle. The paduk and maple woodwork was designed to mimic the mountains that the van calls home.
The kitchen area hides a yeti cooler and the seating has storage that houses an auxiliary battery that powers the LED lights. The bed area doubles as crash pad storage for bedding and bouldering and has two large pull-outs in the rear. Because of the minimalist design, we were able to eliminate the need for a solar setup, keeping the project within the client's budget.
